About this regulator
The Financial Services Authority of Indonesia, known as Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK), is an independent institution that regulates and supervises the financial services sector in Indonesia. Established to replace the Capital Market and Financial Institution Supervisory Agency (Bapepam-LK) in 2011, the OJK has a wide range of responsibilities, including overseeing banking, capital markets, insurance, pension funds, financing institutions, and other financial services entities.
